I have only read until the fourth or fifth book. But at that point Max had left Fang. I do not know if it is permanent though...

Angel tells Max that Fang will be the first to die. then this kid Dylan comes along and Dr.Something(I forget his name,but i know he's involved with Mr.Chu)tells Max and the flock that Dylan is supposed to,like,marry Max and Raise little baby Mutants and that Dylan is perfect for Max instead of Fang being perfect for Max. And then Dr.Something kills Fang and Max brings him back to life by injecting something into his heart. Then later Fang leaves and just leaves a note to Max. in the 7th book(Angel),Though,Max finds out where he is. ~Elise I luv to get u curious.

That Dr. Hans dude injected something into Fang making him die but Max came along and stabbed a needle into his heart to save his life.

Yes they do!In chapter 7 Pg 23 there alone in a tent in Africa and Max and Fang are kissing then Nugde ruins the moment by calling them to dinner.Pg 98 Max was in the bathroom brushing her hair and Fang came in and they kissed but that was broken up by The Gasman and Iggy. They were making fun of Max and Fangs relashonship and that caused Max to go into the hallway and yell at them.Pg 147Max and Fang are in a treeI think that's it mabey theres more i doont know
