Solids dissolve a lot more quickly in hot water because the heat breaks up the particles more quickly, where as the cold would make the particles stay stronger/closer together :)
Why is glue mixed with strach is becouse the strach makes it so it will stick tougether. Without water it will be more like a ball of hard playdooh, not a putty that can be squished. The water makes it less sticky, and more liquid.
you take borax ( in the cleaning aisle ), water and glue to make goo. it doesnt matter how much of anything you put in. if you want wet, sloppy goo, you put in water, glue and very little borax. if you want just molding goo, put in water, glue, and a lot of borax
