yes it do affects ur fuel effi iency ...the reason being that due to frictional losses due to wiz it causes decrease in fuel efficiency...the tyres provided by the manufacturers are the best the reason being before any car is manufactured total research n development is done..

If the injector pulse width is increased the air fuel ratio becomes what?

If the injector pulse width is increased, the air-fuel ratio becomes richer, meaning there is more fuel relative to air in the mixture. This happens because a longer pulse width allows the fuel injectors to deliver more fuel into the combustion chamber. A richer mixture can improve power output but may also lead to increased emissions and reduced fuel efficiency if excessively rich.

How does engine size effect fuel efficiency?

The larger the engine and the more cylinders it has the more fuel is "injected" into the cylinders ising more fuel

Why fuel efficiency is important?

Fuel efficiency determines how much useful energy you get out of each unit of fuel. If fuel efficiency drops you have to use more fuel to get the same job done. And fuel cost money, so you'll also have to pay more to get the same job done. And burning fossil fuels contributes to pollution, so with poorer fuel efficiency you have to put up with more pollution being released for thesame amount of useful work being done.

Why do turbojets increase efficiency at high speeds?

Turbojets increase efficiency at high speeds because they rely on the forward motion of the aircraft to compress incoming air, which reduces the amount of work the engine has to do compared to slower speeds. This allows turbojets to produce more thrust for the same amount of fuel, resulting in improved efficiency at higher speeds.

What can you do to add fuel efficiency to your vehicle?

One of the things i am doing to get my car more fuel efficient is to use a fuel catalyst. Most cars burn their fuel at 93-97% efficiency, leaving the unburned fuel as hydrocarbon deposits in the combustion chamber. Fuel Infusion helps your engine burn fuel more efficiently.

How does density affect fuel efficiency?

Higher density fuel contains more potential energy per unit volume, resulting in better fuel efficiency because more energy is available for combustion. Lower density fuel may result in lower fuel efficiency because less energy is available per unit volume, leading to a decrease in power output and increased fuel consumption.

What is Air Cooled OHC?

• Overhead cam (OHC) design effectively reduces noise and vibration, makes burning more sufficiently, reduces fuel oil consumption and reduces discharge;

Why do cars get better gas mileage on the highway?

Cars get better gas mileage on the highway because they can maintain a more consistent speed, which reduces the amount of fuel needed to overcome frequent acceleration and deceleration. Additionally, aerodynamic drag is lower at higher speeds, further improving fuel efficiency.

What are the effects of this fuel consumption and the need for streamlining if the force from the engine is moving at a constant speed?

Frequent fuel consumption can lead to high costs and environmental impact due to increased emissions. Streamlining reduces drag on the vehicle, improving fuel efficiency. If the force from the engine is moving at a constant speed, streamlining helps maintain that speed more efficiently.

What can I add to the fuel to make it idle more smoothly?

Acetone is often added to fuel to increase fuel efficiency and create a smoother idle.

What is DS2 Diesel Fuel?

DS2 fuel is ultra low sulfur fuel mainly found at airports. Although it reduces emissions, there is a loss in efficiency when it is used. The PPM (parts per million) content of the sulfur in DS2 fuel should not exceed 15ppm in the United States. Due to the low content of the sulfur in DS2 fuel, the cost of the fuel per gallon has increased up to 25 cents more per gallon.

What does air resistance do to a vehicle?

Air resistance, also known as drag, creates a force that opposes the motion of a vehicle as it travels through the air. This force reduces the vehicle's speed and fuel efficiency. In order to overcome air resistance, vehicles need to expend more energy, resulting in increased fuel consumption.
