Not to my knowledge.
Yes, if you drained it out before starting it should be ok.
3 liters (if engine was hot and was drained with gravity)
If it is the 4.3 liter engine and you have drained all the oil out of the engine oil pan and you have replaced the old oil filter with a new oil filter, then you need to add 5 quarts of engine oil to get the proper level in your engine.
not unless there is a significant color change in the oil, might be because of when the oil leaving the engine air is hitting it called aeration
You can check it when the engine is cold and you should check the oil level in your engine when the engine has sat for at least 30 minutes. This way all the oil has drained back into the oil pan and you will get an accurate reading on the dipstick.
The Oil is drained by removing a plug in the oil pan, and letting it run into a pan. The filter is screwed to the side of the engine. After the oil is drained and the filter changed, add oil and check frequently to prevent overfilling.
Place a floor jack under your engine with a board resting on the jack under your engine between the oil pan and the transmission pan and slowly raise the jack until it supports your engine. remove the motor mount. perform repair. replace mount. remove jack and board. wish we would have rememberedthis earlier.
there is no need for an engine oil drain plug, because when the oil filter is removed and the oil is drained from the oil tank (by way of the oil tank drain hose located by/under the battery box) there is no oil that remains in the engine.
Oil is drained by placing a container underneath the engine and opening the drain plug in the oil pan. Opening it slowly will allow you to control the flow.
It is on the driver side of the engine block ,in front of the engine mount. It is on the driver side of the engine block ,in front of the engine mount.
Use dipstick as a guide. Fill to proper level when engine off after it has settled/drained back to the pan.
To change Volvo oil filled 940 engine mount, push a container under the oil drain plug. Unscrew drain unplug and remove the cap from the oil filler hole at the top of the engine. Unscrew oil filter to drain. Then change oil.
