Are you kidding me opana is one of the most powerful narcotic opiate pain medications on the market they are so powerful in fact that they are designed to be slowly released in your body over a period of 12 hours from a single dose so in short yes you get high off of opana. so be very careful with this medication it is very powerful. I can not stress enough if you are not familiar with this medication and have never taken it to be very careful overdose/DEATH are very common with this medication due to its extreme power and effect on the central nervous system most common cause of death due too overdose with this medication is respiratory failure (your lungs become paralyzed and you suffocate to death) With cardiac arrest coming in at a close second because it relaxes the heart rate and blood pressure to such an extent that it causes the heart to stop.
what qualifies me to answer this question Im on opana this very second and i study every medication i'm prescribed to a very extreme extant. always study meds your planning on taking. Its your body and life and sometimes doctors have alternative motivations and don't always have your best interest at the top of their list

opana is a synthetic opiate completely different than oxycodone and will not show up. I know from the experience of being urine tested right after taking opana and nothing showed up.
