Yes
Lots of mods do not need forge, big ones such as: OptiFine Too many items and Better Sprint (all i know of)
If you can play Minecraft then you can install the Too Many Items mod.
As of right now, too many items doesn't work. Because the mod creator needs to patch it to work with 1.0.0.
Once you have installed Too Many Items, when you bring your inventory up, you can choose from a list of blocks/items that appears by the side and click them into your inventory.
Optifine is another but not too many texture packs and mods are compatible with it. It just depends on what you use.
I would use a mod called Too many items too, I have a tutorial for how to install the mod. (See "Sources and related links" below) Too many items is a ingame inventory editor.
Yes, too many items is free :)
yes they do! and too many items will give you the rings babies eggs for spawning MCA (because they are not villagers they need different eggs) and tombstone for the dead ones or that will die eventually
if you mean a black screen then it means the too many items you downloaded dose not support the version of minecraft you have the 1.9 too many items
I think I know what you mean. "Looking further" is actually part of a mod for Minecraft, OptiFine. you can press Ctrl on a PC to zoom in or "look further" at distant objects. The whole description about OptiFine is on the Minecraft Forums if you would like to check it out. For a brief summary, OptiFine basically just supports your Minecraft and makes it run better. Personally, I am not into Minecraft mods too much, so you should probably go read about OptiFine on the Minecraft Forums if you want an accurate description.
i dont think there is a compatible version of TMI for 1.2_01 :(
Only Server OPS can use mods like Too Many Items.
