Persephone, being a Greek goddess, could change her appearance (and hair) at will.
Persephone had blond hair.
I have seen Persephone depicted with many different hair colours.
In Greek art, Persephone is invariably portrayed robed. She may be carrying a sheaf of grain.General symbols are springs, wreaths of flowers worn in hair, torches, reeds, waterfalls, rivers, and spring.
They often say she has dark brown hair.
She had golden hair, but are you thinking of Medusa, who had snakes for hair ?
Sheafs of grain : a goddess of Spring growing things; a tie to Demeter. A flaming torch : a reference to her journey though the Underworld and bringing life to earth. Asphodel : a field of this grows in the Underworld where the dead dwell. Symbols of Hades the King of the Underworld were sometimes included as hers: modern symbols include the white rose and the bat.
The daughter of Zeus and Demeter, who was abducted by Hades and forced to be his wife. She ate 6 pomegranate seeds, so 6 months ever year she is in the Underworld, and the other half with her mother.
In the Underworld, or upon the earth cutting the hair of those who are fated to die and dedicating that hair to the Underworld.
Persephone is a Greek Goddess. She is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. In her maiden form she is known as Kore, a Goddess of the earth, harvest, and nature. She is married to the God of the Underworld and the dead, Hades. She is his Queen, and through him becomes the Goddess of the Underworld.
Well, she is very pretty, which is why Hades wanted her to come to the underworld, (he thought her beauty would liven the underworld, also called Hades.) There is really no specific description of her, but she had long hair, and wore a flowing white toga. I had to dress up as her for a school project, and I included flowers in my hair, because she helps her mother Demeter with the crops.
She is sometimes depicted with either Blonde/White, Red, or Black hair.
