Yes, they respond very well to sunlight because i have a plant in my room that is near the window and it has full access to the sunlight and whenever the sunlight hits the plant, it leans toward the sun's direction. When the plant fully grew, it was beyond healthy and had a pretty green colour.
You need grow lights which are in another light spectrum. Regular lights won't do as well to help your plants.

Yes, high pressure sodium lights will help to grow plants indoors. You can grow tomatos and other plants that need normally need sunlight.
They are used for growing plants.
No, office fluorescent lights are not ideal for plants because they do not provide the full spectrum of light that plants need for photosynthesis. Plants require a specific balance of red and blue light, which is not typically provided by standard fluorescent lights.
? well plants dont need sunlight unless your talking about seasons. Well to turn on the lights click on the light and click turn on then pick an option. As for the plants normal lights wont work you need to go into the buy mode click "garden center" then click on the plant and shovle picture then there should be a golden looking hangging light spesificly for plants (for seasons only) :) happy simming!
I don't think they react at all unless you turn the lights on then off a lot really fast.
yes
yerrr
yep
Yes, plants can grow under fluorescent light, but they may not grow as well as they would under natural sunlight or specialized grow lights. Fluorescent lights provide some of the necessary light spectrum for plant growth, but they may not be as intense or have the full spectrum of light that plants need for optimal growth.
