Platt National Park was renamed and re-designated into a more appropriate name, Chickasaw National Recreational Area, on 1976 March 17.
Its annual number of visitors has been about 1.3 to 1.5 million for the last decade or so.
The NPS has no online records indicating what percentage of these come from outside the U.S., but I would be surprised if there has been NO international visitors.

Larry Platt didn't die or get killed, he got beaten up outside a convenience store by a group of young boys who wanted to beat him to death, but luckily it didn't happen. It is all just a big rumor.
