Yes.When the star explodes it will become a super nova. Our sun is too smal to make a supernova when it explodes.
A Super Nova.
A giant star is smaller than the sun.
Some stars are
that depends on how large the red or super red giant was. if it was a super red giant that is 1000X larger than a red giant. it will become a black hole
Stellar Nebula - Average Star- Red Giant - Planetary Nebula - White Dwarf Stellar Nebula - Massive Star - Red Super Giant - Super Nova- Neutron Star Stellar Nebula - Massive star - Red Super Giant -Super Nova - Black Hole
That would be a super-nova
Red giant is the largest and the brightest.
Protostar, Main Sequence, Red Giant, Super Nova, and the Neutron Star.
well it depends on the star. not all stars explode. small to medium sized stars just go into a planetary nebula after they swell up to a red giant then the bigger stars do explode, they have a super nova after the swell up into a super giant. but dont worry i star will not explode... its a really small star. --- nichole brooks :)
A Nova or Supernova
NOVA
We cannot be sure it won't. What we can be sure of, for it to become a nova, it first has to become a white dwarf, and this will not happen for another 6 billion years. Then another star has to come close enough for material from it, to accrete onto the surface. The chances of another star coming that close, is quite slim.
