Electing the first Roman Catholic president (Kennedy) was a major breakthrough. Religion matters less than it used to, but there are probably several barriers left. It will probably be a long time before we see our way to electing a Mormon, and perhaps a longer time still before electing a president who does not practice religion at all.
You must be at least 35 and be an American citizen born in the US. Religion, race, and such does not matter.

Yes, of course. There is nothing in the US constitution that requires the president to be of any particular religion - or to have any religion at all.

It doesn't matter if he is or not. Presidents are not elected based on religion. It isn't a qualification to be president.
It doesn't matter whether the US president Obama is Muslim or not. Even Muslims don't care whether President Obama is Muslim or not. Any US president behaves according to the Country strategies, priorities, and interests not according to his faith or religion. You, and Muslims, should care that he is the president of the world superpower country. Accordingly, The care is, regardless Obama's faith or religion, what he can offer for the world peace and for resolving world conflicts, in particular the Israel - Palestine conflict and Israel occupation of Palestinian lands.
Religion can provide moral values, Ex: The Ten Commandments
No. The US has not elected any person of the Jewish religion or Jewish ethnicity as President.
