Rock moves does hurt Ground types, but not very much. In other words "Its not very effective". <---- don't ever use rock against ground :D or youll lose :(
However, visa versa, Ground is super effective against rock.

rock type because electric moves don't hurt them. NO! rock & electric can hurt each other normally. use ground type. ground is super effective against electric & electric has no effect at all against ground. hope this helps :)
