Some individuals may prefer soft and calming music while others may find that heavy metal; rock; soft rock, etc., soothes them. The individual has to find what is the most soothing to them and then yes, music has scientifically been proven to lower blood pressure.
in my opinion i feel it does say if i listen to hard metal rock a whole load of energy rushes through me where as if i listen to calm music i don't get the same effect if u get what i mean (opera not my thing )
