Yes he would have taken previously,but let me tell you that Ryback is a fatty guy you can see fats around his hips area and stomach which he hides with his dress,also his hands are thin than that of John Cena and look skinny compared to his fat body,but you gotta believe that no one can ever be as strong as bill goldberg was.I hope this cleared your doubt :)
