Pure salt is NaCl. No additives. However, table salt often has an anti-caking agent added to prevent the salt from clumping. Sea salt naturally has other minerals in it such as potassium and magnesium. Some countries add Iodine.
SOME table salt companies use trace amounts of glucose or dextrose in their product to stablize the iodine. THAT BEING SAID, so far I've only found one company that does so here in Canada (Windsor salt) - IN OTHER WORDS....MOST DON'T (Western Family, Sifto, etc.)

Sugar makes the strongest gelatin because it hardens when concentrated.
Commerical powdered sugar often has additives like corn starch, oil, or wheat flour, so if you are allergic to any of these you could be reacting to additives. If so make your own at home by grinding granulated sugar in a blender or coffee grinder.
