Does samsung's f8 lcd tv support both ntsc and pal?
Samsung does not sell LCD TVs that are PAL compatible. Samsung's F8 is a NTSC compatible LCD TV model. A converter can be purchased to make a television support PAL.

That will be probably the problem of the settings of the DVD player.. I think changing the output to PAL or NTSC (try both) might help. I assure you that your LCD tv doesnt have a problem coz unlike the CRT the colour element cant be driven off from the LCD as the concepts are basically totally different..
