Where Santa is involved, lots of things are possible, but ... it's pretty unlikely. The child's family would have to be able to take care of a pony properly (ponies are expensive to feed and cannot be housebroken, so will need a stable to live in, and plenty of room to exercise outdoors). The best thing to do would be to ask your parents (who know your family's situation pretty well, and will have at least some idea of how hard it is to keep a pony) if they think it's likely that Santa might bring you a pony.
No they dont fit in his bag...... :/
Typically spring is bad for ponies due to the new lush grass coming in. The ponies will overeat and give themselves Laminitis from it.
No! Ponies are mammals. All mammals except the echidna and duck-billed platypus give birth to live young.
Ponies have babies, not eggs. All mammals except for platypuses and echidnas give birth to live young.

Horses and ponies are mammals - they have fur, give birth to live young and feed the young with milk. Mammals are all vertebrates with an internal skeleton.

The collective noun for ponies is a string of ponies. A string of ponies is traditional for a group of ponies owned or bred, usually for a particular purpose. That collective doesn't apply to all situations where there may be a group of ponies. Random groups of ponies could be found in many situations, a corral of ponies, a parade of ponies, a family of ponies; or even more fanciful, a pile of ponies, a party of ponies, or a plethora of ponies.
