smog is a mixture of poison gasses and burnt fossil fuels. If ingested for a long it can make you sick. If inhailed it can damage you lungs and has been known to cause Asthma. It chokes out the oxygen and replaces it with dangerous gasses. It can makes birds sick and pass on the chemicals found in the cloud of smog to the animal that eats that bird. Known as Bioapliphication. This can cause a decrease in the bird pop. and cause a decrease in it's ecosystem. The word smog means smoke and fog smog is cuased by ground-level ozone. smog is most likely to occur farther away from the source of its pollutants. This happens because the chemical reaction takes time and the wind causes the smog to be swept away in the wind.

∙ 11y agoAt extreme cases, it can kill you. But it just works as a cigerate, it is bad for your lungs, so people in LA have lots of smog, because lots of automobiles and smokers are there with high mountains to bloc the breeze
