The short answer is yes, although smoking after strenuous activity may cause your lungs and throat to burn or feel raw. This isn't permanent though, and will go away.
makes blood flow easier resulting in a better work out.
no you get stronger dummy
If you're motivated--do it to it! While I, myself do not have the urge to workout when I am smoking, some may get the opposite effect. The answer is yes you can work out and smoke. But if you don't feel like working out that's fine also. Its up to the individual.
Scientifically, the use of marijuana does not directly impact your muscular strength. It neither makes you stronger or weaker. However, some effects commonly associated with marijuana use, such as lethargy and sloth, can affect your workout schedule or overall health, which would affect your strength.
The question, to me, was unclear, so I have two answers for you. 1) If you are working out after the effects of marijuana have worn off, then you will see absolutely no change at all. Your workout will be completely normal and devoid of any abnormalities. 2) If you are working out while under the effects of marijuana, you might feel lazy, and you'll probably have the urge to say "Screw this, I'd much rather eat potato chips and watch tv."
decreased flexibility
The most important effect is the fact that, running tires you and you will not be able to effectively workout. All your energy would have been spent in running and you wont have enough energy to workout with heavy weights.
Some workout supplements are harmful to your body, and people say that most of them aren't. They can affect the heart, and many other parts of the body.
Headaches, and makes you easily irritable.
when you smoke cannabis, you are paralyzing the little cilia(sp?) in your lungs. this happens whenever you smoke anything though. you're probably just out of shape and just need to go workout. try riding an exercise bike two or three times a week and it will help increase your lung capacity and im sure you'll be feeling a lot better. i guarantee you that it doesnt have anything to do with withdrawal, chances are you're just out of shape dude!Marijuana has absolutely no Physical Withdrawal Symptoms.
Depending on your body type and if you workout or not the average is 1-10 days. 10 being for chronic smokers and 1-2 for infrequent usage.
you will be fine.
Exercise. Marijuana is stored in your fat tissues, so if you exercise (jog, workout, sports etc), it will still be in your system for a matter of days to a week, (longer in bigger people that have more fat) as apposed to it lasting up to a month or even longer.. You have to sweat it all out...
Healthy lifestyle for me is having a balance diet, workout or exercise few times a week, and an active lifestyle free of any vices such as smoking or too much alcohol.
