I would say most definitely no. If you've had lots to drink smoking a joint can make it far worse...
but who knows, it depends on many variables, how many drinks you've had, how much bud you put in a spliff, plus how strong the shiz you're smoking is!!

Smoke of any kind can be harmful. Vaporizing marijuana as opposed to smoking a Marijuana Cigarette (joint, blunt, etc..) has been shown to be less harmful as the plant matter is not actually burned.
Using a joint to consume marijuana isn't as healthy because you're inhaling the burning paper. You also get less THC from smoking joints.
As all the experienced person has already stated that effects of grass starts from the brain & everything is all related with how you feel.Not 100 % but at least you can minimize the effects up to 60 % if you feel good after you are stoned.Please do not be sad for what you are not having but be happy for the things you are having.Try it .........
If by "lifted" you mean high, it depends on how long you have been smoking and the quality of the weed you've been smoking, if a first time smoker is smoking lets say, regular quality weed, about .3 Grams, maybe less

This all depends how much you smoked before then. If you haven't smoked in a while the marijuana will get out of your system pretty quickly. If you only smoke that day you should get it out in less then a week. And if you play on smoking again just before that week just make sure you drink as much water as possible and try to sweat a lot.
