This is wrong all the way around. Most marijuana smokers are at average weight or are overweight. Marijuana stimulates the hypothalamus, increasing appetite. Less scientifically, if you ask anyone about a time that they smoked marijuana, nine times out of ten you will hear some variation of the phrase "got the munchies so bad." Marijuana definitely affects eating habits by increasing the users appetite.

∙ 13y agoIt totally suppresses my appetite, I don't like to lose weight though cause I'm naturally thin, I therefore hate it and want to quit smoking so that I'll eat breakfast and lunch and snacks again, I'll go to sleep at night , wake up in the morning, go throughout my day without eating until around 4-5 pm! That's 18 to 20 hours of zero food!! Not good!!

∙ 11y agoThe answer is yes, if you smoke a lot of weed for long period of time without eating properly it can cause a decrease in a person appetite. This is because the drug makes you hungry/munchies after you smoke. If you smoke a lot throughout the day it can throw off your appetite meaning you will only feel hungry after you smoke. This may also cause stomach cramps if you are not properly eating meals throughout the day as a person should.I Recommend quitting for a week or more to give your body time to re-adjust itself. If there is still a problem I would see a doctor. By law doctors cannot give a info to the pigs.
