Yes . . . But garden slugs are a much bigger problem.
If you have an invasion of garden slugs or snails in your garden, try crumbling up egg shells and spreading them around your plants. ( The slugs have attacked my spaghetti squash this year, and I lost about half of them, before I caught onto them ! Their slimy trail was a dead give away ! )
