It's not that Snape cares for Harry it's more that he cares for the memory of Lily Potter, Harry's Mother. Lily died trying to save Harry, and therefore Snape is prepared to do the same - so that Lily does not die in vain.
Severus Snape asked Lord Voldemort to spare Lily Potter because he loved Lily and didn't want her to die. Dumbledore was disgusted that he didn't care about James or Harry.
Both are: Hogwarts Professors Heads of House Extremely powerful MAGICAL Care for Harry very much (but for completely different reasons...)
Opinions differ on this. Some take the view that Dumbledore truly cared about Harry and considered him a son which is why he was so involved in his life and took so many steps to help him. Others think that Dumbledore was so invested in making sure Harry survived because he knew that Voldemort had to destroy the Horcrux inside of him and that Harry may die, so who better to risk destroying the rest of the Horcruxes.
Answer 1Snape was very guarded about his past. We only got the occasional brief glimpse of what his home life may have been like. We are given the impression that Tobias was not very kind and understanding to Snape all the same.Answer 2When Harry accidentally breaks into Snape's mind in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and sees some of Snape's childhood memories, one of the memories he sees is Snape's dad yelling at Snape's "cowering" mother (USA Scholastic hardcover edition, p592). The fact that Eileen Snape was cowering from her husband suggests that he was physically abusive to her, since you don't usually cower from someone unless you are afraid they're going to hit you. If Tobias Snape did indeed beat his wife, then it is certainly possible that he beat young Severus too.
No, Snape never cared about Harry. He hated him. Snape did care about Harry's mother and attempted to protect him simply because he was the woman he loved's child. Although his motivation at first was to protect Harry because he felt in debt to Lily, he knew he needed to keep his emotions in check for the sake of staying on task with the ultimate mission; thereby kept his distance from the boy and developed an unjust hate for him for the sake of protecting not only the mission and himself, but Harry as well. He didn't care for him at first as a baby, knowing he was the offspring of the woman he loved and the man he loathed; however as time went on, he found himself becoming more involved with the boy in indirect ways. He grew more and more hard on him to make sure that Harry stayed alive. But it was his final scene between he and Harry that gave the true nature of his feelings for Harry away, the scene he gives Harry his memories. He wanted Harry to comprehend why he was so hard on him, how much his mother meant to him and so much more, it was all to protect him. He obviously didn't need to show him these extra memories besides the conversation between him and Dumbledore, and surely Snape wouldn't bother explaining himself and his actions to someone he truly loathed; however he wanted to show them to Harry anyway because he cared about what he thought about him, and wanted understanding and forgiveness for all that has happened between them and why it was so important that he kept his distance from him, giving his position as a spy for Dumbledore. He knew that Harry was going to die in the end, so all of the memories that he gave him had no part in the mission; he assumed that Harry wouldn't be able to 'redeem' him in any way, it was all a plea coming from the real Severus, once again wearing his heart on his sleeve. In the end, Snape showed Harry how much he did care, even if it was in an unorthodox way.
Well, honey, Snape sent the Patronus charm to let the Order of the Phoenix know that Harry was still alive and hidden in the forest. It was his way of helping out without blowing his cover as a double agent. Snape may have been a greasy git, but he had a heart buried somewhere deep down.
He became loyal to Dumbledore after Snape learned that Voldemort was planning to kill the woman he loved (Lily Potter). In turn for her safety he joined the order - sadly she was still kill however Snape promised to help keep her son safe.
I think he kills professor snape because he Volermort wanted Draco Malfoy to kill Dumbledore in the 6th film, but snape did instead so he Voldermort might of got a bit angry.I don't know if that's right or not,NO THAT IS NOT RIGHT (I WILL CORRECT YOUR ANSWER : BY (AHMED NASSAR)I'm really sure that voldemort thought that snape disarmed dumbledorebut Draco did itso voldemort thought that snape is the new owner of the elder wand.so voldemort disarm and kill snapeOK, actually, THIS is why Voldemort Killed Snape (!!!!!):In the Half Blood Prince, Malfoy disarmed (expelliarmus) Dumbledore, and Snape killed him. Whoever disarmes/kills the owner of the Elder Wand is the new owner of the Elder Wand. Dumbledore was the owner of the Elder wand until he was killed. Since Voldemort wanted the Elder Wand for himself, he figured that since Snape killed Dumbledore, Snape was the owner of the Elder Wand, Voldemort thought that if he killed Snape, Voldemort would be the owner of the Elder Wand. HE IS AN IDIOT!!!!!! THAT is the truth. ( believe me, I am the most obsessesd Harry Potter fan you will ever know. It is my JOB to know these things!!!)
In the books Harry is mentioned taking the following classes: Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, Transfiguration, Potions, and Herbology. He also takes Apparition lessons as well as Occlumency lessons with Professor Snape and private training with Professor Dumbledore
Severus Snape, who always loved Lily, asked Voldemort to spare her. As Snape was (at the time) loyal to him, Voldemort decided to give her a chance but when she was unwilling to step away he killed her without another though.
