Good game? Sonic r lacked EVERYTHING Amy's the worst character in the game with poor speed, poor handling and poor acceleration. The graphics were terrible There were too many glitches And what the heck is wrong with the Music? This was voted by Screw attack as the worst Sonic game in History!

Other than the extra abilities in several games like Sonic Unleashed, or Sonic Colors, Sonic doesn't 'gain' powers. He always had his famous speed. Along with the ability to use the chaos emeralds to turn into Super Sonic.
