Does spyro die in dawn of the dragon?

Spyro can die.But will eventually be alive later on,probably a few metres back but in wii spyro will nevr permanentally die,but im not sure because i havent finished the whole game yet.when ever spyro dies hes always a few metres back where he started.

Well nobody really knows...Ignitus says that when a dragon dies its spirit doesn't leave the world and stays to protect it from evil but at the end it showed spyro and cynder flying around so it's whatever you want it to be! dead ? alive? who knows...

Spyro and Cynder are alive at the end, so if they did "die", they came back to life again.

No, Spyro did NOT die. At the very end of Dawn of the Dragon (after the end credits) the Game Shows a cutscene of The Chronicler and Ignitus talking about Spyro. Ignitus wanted to know if Spyro and Cynder were dead. The Chronicler stated that every time a dragon dies, a new page is written in the book of the Chronicler. The Chronicler said even though Spyro sacrificed himself, The Chronicler could not find the slightest trace of Spyro in the book. Where is he? No one really knows. All we know is that he's not dead. So where is he?...

In the last cutscene after the credits The chronicler tells ignitus when an age ends he must chose a dragon to chronicle that new age the chronicler chose ignitus to take his place ignitus asked the chronicler what happend to spyro the chronicler replyed 'when a dragon dies a new page is writen in this book iv'e tryed my best but i couldn't find any trace of spyro'(The chronicler couldn't find spyro in the book of the dragons that have died meaning that he survived the earths core)finaly the chronicler dissappeared in a flash and ignitus turned blue confirming him to be the new chronicler then it shows spyro and cynder flying around in the skys meaning that cynder also survived the earths core.

they do live at the end because if you keep on watching the credits you will see a cut sceene in which ignitus becomes the new chronicler and you see spyro and cynder flying together over the vally of alavar.
