When a volcano erupts, magma from within the Earth is expelled through the crater along with fragments of rocks, such as ash, cinders, and lava. These materials can form lava flows on the volcano's slopes or be ejected into the air as ash clouds and pyroclastic flows.
Gold dust, when in bulk, can be treated and turned into gold coins with heat. The dust will melt creating one uniformed liquid form that can be easily casted into coins by using molds then immediately cooled to harden the gold.

Rainwater will wash down the sides of the volcano. Heavy rain can sometimes mix with volcanic ash to form a dangerous mudflow called a lahar. If the volcano is erupting, rain that comes in contact with lava or hot pyroclastic material will turn to steam.
Felsic lavas cool to form igneous rocks when they solidify and harden after being erupted from a volcano. The cooling process can happen either on the surface of the Earth or underground, and the slow cooling allows minerals to crystallize and form the igneous rock.
