Yes, Target does a standard urine test. They often do not give time for cleansing (if you do happen to be using anything). Some people have reported that Target has called them back and asked them to go take the test that day if they wanted the job.
If you do not intend to be drug free (except for those that you have a prescription for) during your employment, then do not apply. They are sending a clear signal to you that drug use will not be tolerated.

Randstad does both urine as well as saliva tests. They do the saliva ones more often, but the client can request urine, and they wont tell you which kind is ordered until test time.
