You could get a 5.7 liter (350) but it had to be in the IROC Z package , If memory serves me right it also had to be automatic and with four way disc brakes. Most all you find out there are 5.0 liter (305) and have drum brakes on the rear. My father ordered an 87 IROC in the fall of 86 with a 5.7 Liter.
305
It was the 305 or the 350.
305 TBI IROC HAS 350 TPIno such thing as a 91 iroc camaro. rs had 305, z28 had 350 im not sure if the z was available with the 305.
what kind of engine? v6 v8? 305? 350? v6-2.8L V8305-5.0L V8350-5.7L
"A stock 1987 Camaro Z28 305 V8 engine has at least 280 horsepower" Sorry, but the '87 305 only puts out 165 to 215 hp depending on the performance package. The 350 of that year only increased this by 10 hp to 225. Source: http://www.thirdgen.org/1987-pontiac-firebird
88 Iroc came with either 305 or 350. You already answered the question with camaro 350
The 1987 Camaro Z 28 350 cubic inch engine stock horsepower is 280. The 1987 Camaro Z 28 350 cubic inch engine was the largest engine offered for that model year.
In 1985 the camaro did in fact offer a 350 in a Z28 model the 350 was around for years before 1985 it was just more popular in heavy duty trucks that's all.
It could be a 5.0L 305 CID. or a 5.7L 350 CID engine.
The Camaro might have a slight edge due to its lighter weight and better aerodynamics
either a 305 or a 350 V8.
The '91 camaro Z28 had the option of the 305 CI V8 or the 350CI V8, the 350 was only available with an optional automatic transmission the 350 was the L98 motor. The 305 was the LB9 motor and the only motor you could order the manual transmission with.
