No. If you'll check page 130 of your owner's manual you'll see there's an icon for unlatched doors but not the trunk.
If you've never reviewed that part of the manual you might want to do so when you have a moment. The entire manual is full of tips and tricks to help manage everything from the alarm system to when the doors automatically lock/unlock.
Cheers
To open a convertible top for a Mercedes CLK 430 manually, open the trunk. There is a switch located in the trunk if the driver's switch fails. The switch is located in the far reaches of the trunk next to where the top and the trunk meet.
right (passenger) side - behind the cat conv.
I'd start at a junkyard. Someplace out there is a pristine 2005 dashboard attached to a car that was T-boned or rear-ended or just suffered enough damage to be totaled. The dash is probably in great shape. Use one of the online wrecking yard searches to make a nationwide search if you don't come up with anything local. By the way, don't limit yourself to only 2005 parts. The dash is essentially the same for all the Gen II Solara's from 2004 on. The gauges are a little different year to year but all fit in the same space.
