Generally yes. However, the fsx is ram hungry so 4plus gig of ram is needed
Well of course it won't run, It's a Flight simulator.
They are available for download as payware and some freeware as well but are not in the original set up packs
Well I've got XP edition and I've got a logitech Extrem 3d pro joystick for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and all you do is plug in the USB into the computer and you install the device and ya
Come in and park at a gate (making sure you're lined up reasonably well) and the press Ctrl+J.
Well it is more fun :D
Start by using a joystick to basic flight control. Look through the Kneeboard for the keyboard controls and note the most important ones then go to the learning centre and make use of that its well worth the effort.
You can try, but it's very very hit and miss. Even when using Compatibility Settings, most users complain about not being able to see scenery - instead just a black screen. It definitely will not work on 64-bit, so don't bother trying.
Yes, the Microsoft Flight Stick controllers work good with aviation simulators.
You go to failures on the free flight screen and then go to engines. Then you click engine fire.
well if you need to ask then you obviously don't know if it is or not, if you don't know, it generally means it isn't.
Perhaps you may have heard the phrase "Flight attendants, prepare for landing" on one of Flight Simulator X's missions. Well there aren't human figures available as add-ons on FSX. If you are looking for a cabin announcement add-on I think you may find it over the web, or ask some FSX experts over the web to help you look for them. For me, I also wanted to have the cabin announcement add-on but my PC over all memory couldn't take it anymore and I don't wish to end up in any FSX complications as I am not a computer expert myself.
I have found carriers in Norfolk and in San Diego. This site has more info, as well as plenty of other cool sights in FSX. I have the Acceleration expansion pack, which is required in order to land an F/A-18 on a carrier. http://www.simtours.net/defaultaircraftcarrier.php
