No it simply does not. However many Christian denominations do teach this doctrine and many others that are not biblical. These beliefs are often described as "conventional wisdom," which the dictionary defines as "the body of ideas or explanations generally accepted as true by the public or by experts in a field." People often feel comfortable with such beliefs because other people feel the same way, including perceived experts and authorities.

Both the Apostles Peter and Paul spoke about those who will receive the truth via repentance and baptism - having God's Holy Spirit dwell within them designating them to be changed at the 2nd Coming of Christ into spiritual saints - yet decide to go back to their old sinful ways. These then have rejected the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and therefore, no longer have a covering sacrifice for their sins. Suggest reading 2 Peter 2:21 and Hebrews 2:1-3; 6:4-8; and 10:26-38. Here is Peter's verse for your reading pleasure:

2 Peter 2:21

New International Version (NIV)

21 It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Do Arminians believe in Eternal Security?

No, they do not believe in an unconditional eternal security, but they do claim to believe in a conditional eternal security. Which means your secure as long as you don't sin. but the problem with that view is that we all sin everyday, so that doesn't add up. The bible teaches eternal security, however, if you decide to once and for all walk away from God and give up your salvation, that's your choice, buts that's the only way a born again person could end up in hell. I've never met a Christian that wanted to do that.

Do Armenians believe like the Baptists do in Eternal Security?

Speaking as an Armenian, the answer is no. We do not believe in eternal security. We believe that a person can fall from grace and lose their salvation (2 Peter 3:17). I have heard all the classic arguments from my Calvanists friends as to why they believe we are eternally secure but for every argument they give me I can make a case for my position to dispute it. In the long run, I think we get to caught up on issues like this that really aren't essential. Even though I don't agree with eternal security, that does not keep me from having fellowship with my Calvanists friends. Nor should it keep us from working together.

What are key attributes of Christianity?

What gift is so universal that a christian can be defined as a person who has received it.?

God's gift of salvation is universal and if you have received God's gift then you are a Christian. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What happen to a person that blaspeme againt the holy spirit?

A person who blasphemed the Holy Spirit was guilty of the unpardonable sin. This sin was with them forever. Even if later (for some reason) their heart was becoming soft toward Christ and they greatly desired salvation for Him, they would not receive it. Their end (when they died) was to suffer eternal damnation.

If a person receives salvation are they always saved?

AnswerThe Bible emphatically teaches once saved-always saved. Those saved are not just in Christ's hand but also in the Father's hand as well; (visualize one hand over the top of another):-Joh 10:27-30 MKJV My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (v.28) And I give to them eternal life, and they shall never ever perish, and not anyone shall pluck them out ofMy hand [ie Christ's hand].(v.29) My Father who gave them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand. (v.30) I and the Father are one!A person who believes and accepts salvation is always saved and will always have eternal life: (This also applies to those believers who come to Christ in genuine faith and are justified before God, but over time quench God's Spirit by sin):-1John 5:9 [NET] If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because this is the testimony of God that he has testified concerning his Son. 5:10 (The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.) 5:11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 5:12 The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life.A believer can know for sure they have eternal life:-5:13 I have written these things [ie Gospel of John] to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

What bond does Baptism give you with other Catholics and other baptized Christians?

Everyone who is validly baptized is a child of God. The only way that we can tell if we are sincere Christians is to treat every single person as if they were God, to love them, to put their welfare first, and their eternal salvation.

Can a Muslim pray for salvation for non Muslim?

Yes Muslims can pray for salvation of their fellow human beings. As long as the non-muslim is alive there is always the possibility of him recognizing the truth of god and his commandments thus attaining the possibility of salvation. However after the death of the non-muslim it is disapproved to pray for his salvation as in his life time he never recognized god his correct commandments therefore there is no opportunity for salvation. Some scholars do take a slightly different view about it though. Of course we do not know god's will so we cant say for sure if a person will attain salvation or not.
