Anything left plugged in and powered up can drain the battery.
A USB cable is available for the DS Lite - it connects to the power port on the DS, and allows you to charge up your DS battery from a USB port. You can't use the cable to transfer saves, cheats, or data, however - just charge.
mine won't come on unless it is plugged up. the battery will not charge.
Answer: Any device which exceeds a computer's VA/Watt rating should not be plugged into the outlets. Most printers can be plugged into a power strip. A laser printer, however, should be plugged directly into the wall.
Yes - the back-up battery will keep the internal clock & calendar running until it's plugged back into the mains.

Yes, you should always charge new phones ( Li-Ion Batteries generally) before the first use. You can, however, use it once you have it plugged in because it continues to charge (although at a slower rate) when it is plugged in. All you need to do is make sure the battery is at 100 percent before unplugging it or the battery will run down faster.
USB devices take power from the device they are plugged into to operate. The message is a warning warning suggesting you unplug the USB devices to conserve the power of the tablet's battery.
Is your battery bad? If so, try booting up plugged in without the battery installed. Mine was freezing up shortly after login, but I have been running around half an hour without the battery, and so far it has not frozen up.
The Ion battery could have died completely meaning that it can no longer charge. Much like a rechargable battery; you can keep recharging it, b ut it will eventually use up all of it's energy. If y You may have charged it enough to kill the battery. Like any rechargable battery, it will eventually not be able to recharge anymore after a certain number of uses. If this is the case, the DS won't turn on because there is no power to supply it. You can find another ion battery the same size the DS uses and try to replace it yourself, but opening the DS WILL void any and all warranty.
Check to see if the battery is securely placed. If it is, then plug the DS into the charger and connect to an outlet. Then it should charge up and work.
It will be able to play the game and continue to charge up at the same time.
