yes, it works. I have now sold 18 items totaling in $656.60 in sales. I have sold Rings from a Thrift Store (one sold in less than 13 hours), a book I got from a friend, a personal extra CD, A Toy Action figure from a Garage sale, and Car Parts - My personal '57 Karmann Ghia parts stored away between 22 and 34 years (most sold within the hour they were listed. Some are still listed, and in auction right now).

My coach really helped with recommendations on my first listing. Everyone who gave any input were helpful. He seems to understand the pace I'm at right now and works with that well. He's not pushy. He listens to my questions and gives good clear concise answers. I appreciate dealing with instructers who have been where you are at, and can recognize where you get stuck.

Spending years as a buyer I was unaware of the learning tools that they offered for buyers, let alone sellers. I had to learn thru the 'school of hard knocks'. I have learned a lot as a seller in a very short time. I'm glad I had the eBay buying experience, it made the transition very easy.

As far as reaching my goals, I can't see that with just selling outsourced items. Need the website. As soon as I listed the old Ghia parts they starting selling within minutes to international buyers. I wasn't set up for them, just domestic shipping. I started receiving a bunch of emails from people asking to let them bid. So I had to go into my items and revise the shipping. Had to do it numerous times till I finally figured it out. Between reading the eBay lessons and talking with my post office I figured it all out. It was a stressfull 8 hour crash course.

My advice is to read all your lesson plans, watch your videos, jump in and do it. Most important, listen to your instructors and follow exactly what they tell you. It's a proven process. Keep it simple and don't over think it.
