The new 2011 Escalade, is rated as being one of the best vehicles to uphold collisions. Most new models of vehicles offer the most latest in collision safety.
On an average, it appears to have won mostly four out of five stars by the National Highway Traffic Safety Institute or NHTSI, though that is just from the Frontal Rating. The side rating tends to be somewhat lower, two out of five stars for front seat passengers and they don't seem to give any sort of rating on backseat passengers safety side rating. I am supposing that the car models were meant to handle front end collisions better than they were for side, but well, that tends to be fairly true for most cars.
The 2010 Honda Odyssey has 5 star safety ratings for Driver Front, Passenger Front, Front Side, Rear Side, and a 4 star safety rating for rollover. This appears to be one safe vehicle!
