On a 2000 Ford Explorer :
YES ( the intake air temperature sensor / air charge temperature sensor
should be in the rear side of the big rubber engine air intake tube , located
between the engine air filter and the throttle body )
The 1998 Ford Explorer 5.0 liter engine IAT sensor is located between the engine and the air filter box. The IAT sensor will be on the air intake hose.
Hi the IAT Sensor is on the air filter hose, it is build in the Flow Mass Sensor ,it is a plug with 6 wires.
Its part of the MAF sensor. In 98 they integrated it.
the iat sensor is located in the air intake duct this is the large rubber hose that attaches to the air filter box
Look for a wiring harness and connector, that connects to the air intake tube. That is where your intake air temperature sensor is located
The 2000 Mazda IAT sensor can be found on the back of the engine. The IAT sensor will be just above the bell housing.
The IAT sensor is an integral part of the MAF sensor
Assuming it has the 5.0 engine, the (IAT) Intake Air Temperature Sensor is located in the air intake snorkel between the air filter box and the throttle body.
the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the air cleaner to throttle body supply tube ( big rubber tube ) close to the engine throttle body.
You can locate the 2002 Ford Focus IAT sensor on the hose between the air filter box and the top of the engine. The IAT sensor will be labeled as such.
2002 models dont have an iat sensor
The 2000 Mitsubishi IAT sensor can be found on the right side of the engine. The sensor will be just below the head deck.
