If the engine is running it is burning fuel, whether the gas pedal is pressed or not.
There is pressure in all water because of the weight of the water above it pressing down

How do i change the 3rd brake light on a mercedes vito van.It is the brake light above the back door?
"Put the key in the ignition push the lock button on your keyfob, pull the key out while holding down the lock button and press the unlock button 5 times. Your key is now reset and ready for usethis also works for the Mercedes E200 keyfob, as tried and tested successfully! It works on a 98 SLK230. The ignition needs to be turned on and the car started before pressing and holding lock then pressing unlock five times."Hope that helped a bit, cuz personally I don't own a Mercedes C Class, but I have tried with my Opel Astra few years ago and it worked out pretty well. So give it a try as the other user has described above! As seen in: How_do_you_reset_a_Mercedes_key_fob
Because as you climb higher there is less air above you pressing down on you with its weight.
It is the weight of the water pressing down from above. The greater the depth the greater the pressure.
The air has the weight of all the air above it pressing down on it. this compresses the air increasing its density. So air at sea level is more dense than air on the top of the mountain, since the air on the mountain top has less air above it pressing down.
Mechanical (pressing)Chemical (solvents)Thermal (heating)Combinations of the above
The deeper you swim, the greater pressure becomes because there is more water above you pressing down.
