Here's some pics of my 2003 Altima Crankshaft Sensor. Often mistaken by the Camshaft Sensor because both are identical sensors. They are each located in different locations. I've seen diagrams with the WRONG labeling. In the vq35de, the crank position sensor is not located in the back. Iv looked all over for its location and took hours to get no where. It is simply located right below the air intake, on the right front side of the oil pan, located below starter. It takes 3 mins to replace old one with new.
