Does gold conduct heat and electricity?

Yes, gold conducts electricity. In fact, it's an excellent electrical conductor. Coupled with its resistance to corrosion, it finds broad use in modern electronics, to name just one application.

What is a semi-conducter?

A material that can both conduct and insulate, depending on the electric fields put across it. It has to do with electrons and holes. I only got an answer to this in a third year electrical engineering course... For a good example, check out how a diode works. It conducts when voltage is applied one way and insulates when it's applied another way.

Does each entry point of an electrical outlet produce the same amount of electricity?

Two points are needed to allow current flow. The third point is necessary for several safety functions.

What is the stressed syllable of electricity?

The third.

What element is most conductive?

Silver is the element that best conducts heat and electricity. Gold, the third most electrically conductive element, is widely used in electronics due to corrosion resistance.

What is the third terminal on electric equipment?

The third terminal connects to earth ground.

What appliances have three pins and which have two pins?

Appliances and tool that only have two pin caps (plugs) are built so that they have double insulation. This means that the electrical "hot" parts can not be touched by handling the appliance or tools and the outside shell is completely insulated and isolated from the inside shell of the equipment. Equipment that require a three pin cap (plug) do not have the double insulation and isolation built into the equipment so protection from getting an electrical shock is done by grounding the equipment, that is what the third pin is. It is used strictly for grounding.

Why gold and copper are good conductors of an electrical current?

Yo, These 3 are the best First = Silver (Ag) Second= Copper (Cu) Third = Gold (Au)

Does south Africa generate two third of Africa electricity?

yes

Is a carbon rod a conductor or insulator?

As regards electrical conduction, if the carbon rod is graphite, it's a conductor. If the carbon rod is diamond, it's an insulator. We have to specify the allotrope of carbon used to make the rod to discover whether it's an insulator or conductor.
