Absolutely! Most people don't want to admit it because they'd rather worry about other things, BUT! 80% of our population are Christians. Notice that despite all the bull we've been through as a country recently, we haven't had any giant protests like in other countries, unless you count OWS, but I guarantee you most of those people were not Christians. The thing is, as long as Christians are told God will make everything okay, they're perfectly happy with getting the wool pulled over their eyes by their government. The sad thing is, they've been played. There is no grand reward, simply them getting manipulated to be docile. And sadly, the American people are too docile now, and yet they treat each other like dirt. How ironic.
Unfortunately no, the government does not provide incentives for its citizens. The governments will leave that task up to each individual to decide on.
Governments do not make money, they just tax the citizens.
China since 1949 has been a communist government and it tells its citizens what to do.
A socialist government's main goal is equality. It wants to minimize the difference between the poorest citizens and the wealthiest citizens.
Democratic Governments are designed for the peoples input, without the input and cooperation of the people the Government will not be able to operate as designed. It may as well be stagnant. Democratic Governments are happy to hear the citizens oppinion; hints the President is the spokesperson of the citizens.
state and county governments
A government that exists because its citizens have "created" it is important as it allows its citizens access to official positions by the ballot box not by a tyranny. So-called democratic governments are responsible to its citizens not the other way around. So what this allows is freedom which makes for a prosperous, open, civil rights based government. These types of governments produce peace & prosperity for the general population.
Not really sure which Government you are asking about. Generally speaking Governments are not a business and do not operate to make a profit. Governments usually spend money that is collected on their behalf of the citizens they govern in the form of taxes. The more citizens under the governments reign... and the higher the tax base will dictate how much money is at the disposal of any government. In other words more people and higher the taxes means more money that come to the governments hands.
Yes
Authoritarian governments have permission to do whatever while the US government have limitations on what they are allowed to do and the citizens make most of the decisions.
The governments should provide their citizens with all their human and universal rights as described by the constitution. All governments for instance are supposed to guarantee the safety of their citizens.
A military controlling government and power is dangerous. It becomes a hunta and can install a military dictator to run the government. When that happens there is a loss of rights by the citizens. Checks on authorities is lost when the authorities can shoot citizens because they protest the government.
