Massively. all vegetation repires, taking in oxygen and giving out CO2, but plants also photosynthisise, which has the opposite afect such that the net result is CO2 in Oxygen out. they therefore have a massive affect on greenhouse gasses, and most importantly if there were no plants there would not only be no food for us but no oxygen. in fact, when you think about what you just said it is a ridiculous question.

P.S. they also give out a litle heat
