Yes, it can work. Any form of resistance training can work: you can lift stones or calves or just use your bodyweight to strengthen your muscles and tendons. Of course, it takes persistence to show good results. The real question is whether it works better than the alternatives. It is certainly 100% better than not doing resistance training. It is convenient and safe. On the other hand, it is not as effective as using free weights with proper technique.

If one is looking to purchase gym equipment Bowflex may be a great choice. Bowflex may cost more than one would expect but results are incredible and easy to work with making them more costly.
The main rules of a Bowflex motivator are: work very carefully, which means don't overdo your work session, another important rule is to make sure you put your hands and legs in the right sections for them.
you cant really work at home becase its not really working./
To answer your question, I would have to say "yes." When I first bought the BowFlex several years ago (this was back in 2003), I was really excited, and got right into working out and getting into shape. I went on a strict diet, running over 30 mins a day (at least 2.5 miles), and eating right. I was therefore able to see great results with the BowFlew. After a while, I maybe got bored though, and even lazy (especially when consumed with other affairs and responsibilities). But I am now back to wanting to get in shape. A serious diet, and commitment, will surely help; and as such, the BowFlew will surely prove to be a great tool to reach my goal. SO IN SHORT: the BowFlex alone isn't enough! ALTHOUGH the tool does help, you have to do the work and watch what you eat.
The Bowflex Treadclimber has been seen millions of times on the television and in advertisements, but does it really work? Yes, of course it does. Any kind of work will begin burning calories and, later rather than sooner, building muscle. However, those fancy machines that cost thousands of dollars out of your precious paycheck shouldn't phase you, as a simple workout can get the same results if paired with a healthy diet and schedule.
You can work nearly every body part with your BowFlex system since it is intended to be a full body work out. If you plan on using the BoxFlex often then it can be worth investing in it, especially if you want to use it in lieu of a gym membership.
