No. The barrlel and grip are longer on the Government model. The Gov't model has a barrel bushing, where the Mustang does not.
My research indicates that your colt government model was made for the U.S. navy in 1913.Does there indicate any government property markings on the frame? If you could indicate what is written on the slide I may be better able to identify your colt.
The frames are dimensionally identical, but of different materials. The New Agent is essentially an Officer's Model with an aluminum alloy frame.

it was made by colt in 1918. you probably have a Remington slide on your colt frame. that is not unusual as slides are switched some times............
