Any intramuscular injection is carried by your bloodstream throughout the body. Depo Provera, like any injection, does not stay in the location where it was given.
i recomend this. my first round i got it in my arm it hurt for a week. then on my second round i asked to get it in my butt it still hurt but did not affect me as much as in my arm.
