No
the LG Fathom does require a data package.
no this phone does not reqire a data package
No.
You do not need a dat package or plan to use the Pantech Laser. It is a quick messaging phone which doesnt require a data plan. So no.
No, when you call you can ask for a pay as you go data package, and if you do not wish to use the features then you can block them.
Yes, verizon now requires you to have a minimum $9.99/month data package with certain phones - including the EnV touch, EnV3 and Alias 2. I think it's complete bull. I just bought the EnV3 and now I have to return it because I don't want the data package. In fact, I renewed my contract with verizon for 2 more years so I could get the EnV3 (not knowing it required a data package) and now I fully regret it. I should've switched to another cellular provider because Verizon is underhanded. When I ordered the phone a few days ago I never agreed to sign up for the data package, nor did the website say ANYTHING about a required data package. I noticed the website has now been updated to reflect their new, stupid policy.Source(s):http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneOverviewByDevice&deviceType=3G%20Multimedia%20Phones 2 years ago(Add me on me on moshi monsters elydingle1 thanx)Asker's Rating:Asker's Comment:i agree its wicked stupid cause i was going to get the env touch but i cant anymore cause i cant get the data package, do you think they eventully change it back?
This phone, although it has a touch screen is a basic phone, meaning there is no data package required. Because this phone is supported by Verizon there is an available $10 reduced data package just for email.
All PDAs, Smartphones, and Blackberry phones require a data package of $29.99 or more. The Samsung Rogue and LG EnV Touch also require a subscription to a $9.99 or $19.99 data package or they can be put on a Connect or Premium plan.
When my mom got her phone Verizon said it required the $9.99 plan but when she called to have texting taken off of her phone the lady asked if she wanted the data off also so I believe the answer is no
No it is not. The mythic is considered a qmd (quick messaging phone) and does not require the data package. All you need is a messaging plan. One thing to watch out for is the apps on the phone that require data so if your going be using them alot you should consider the data package.
Does the lg env3 have internet
Blackberry phones require a data package that includes internet usage, email, etc. The data package usually adds about $30 to a monthly phone bill.
