I guess its mama teaches it. But say the wolf cub was abandoned and nursed along by a rabbit, would it eat lettuce? I don't know that. Anyway, our dog enjoys a cabbage leaf and someone told me that my dog is descended from a wolf. So maybe a wolf doesn't have to learn how to hunt if someone is feeding it. Oowwwooo!
