Yes.
you need wireless internet that what wi-fi is but i dont know what itouch is
NO.
You have to be in an area where there is a Wi-fi connection. 1.) Go into settings. 2.) Wi-Fi 3.) Turn Wi-fi on, 4.) Choose the W-fi connection that is nearest yours.
Wi-Fi is automatically set and used in the itouch. It doesn't need to be set up.
iTouches have Internet only if you are in a wi-fi network. A wi-fi network is an area where there is free wireless Internet publicly available. Some wi-fi networks are locked. This means that you have to know the password for certain wi-fi networks to get in the network. If you're not in a wi-fi network, then you can't access anything that requires the Internet on the iTouch, such as Safari, iTunes, the App Store, YouTube, etc.
Find a location that offers it and connect through your settings.
Sadly, it does not work that way. There is no such thing as a portable Wi-Fi router.
That means that there is no wi-fi (internet connection).
The iTouch has the capability of going on the internet, only if you have Wi-Fi and high speed internet. It is using the Safari browser.
The Wi-Fi must have a standard 802.11b 2.4GHz frequency in order for the iPod Touch to connect to it.
Wi-Fi is only capable if you are connecting it to a high speed internet modem (example: DSL or broadband).
The internet is totally free on the itouch! It doesn't cost anything wherever you are. But the only way you can get it is if you are near a router or have wi-fi.
