You can unlock all the doors , liftgate and glass using the keyless entry keypad , but to actually get the rear glass to open you have to turn the handle on the liftgate Enter your personal code or the factory code to unlock the drivers door and then push the 3/4 button within 5 seconds to unlock the other doors and liftgate
Yes. All GM cars had the ignition and doors keyed the same. They started keying the trunk and doors the same instead some time in the 1970's.
None of them have all the doors open at the beginning but you can open them yourself.
Try unlocking all doors with the key. There should be switches on the backs of the key cylinders on the front doors and liftgate.

If the locks have not been changed, 1 key should operate all locks on the vehicle.
If the door ajar light is coming on in your gauge cluster, and the warning chime is sounding when all your doors, liftgate, and glass hatch are securely shut you most likely have a sticking door ajar switch. The door ajar switches are inside the doors mounted on the latch mechanisms.
If you have a newer model, with the remote unlock built in to the ignition key, press the button that looks like a trunk opening. This will open the tailgate but leave the other doors locked. Otherwise, press the Unlock button TWICE - this will unlock ALL doors, including the tailgate.
Remove the small rectangular cover on inside of gate. Push down on arm and have someone pull on outside handle. The gate should open then. The power lock motor is probably bad and has to be replaced.
Assuming you are sitting in the car with the key in the ignition you just push the door lock button on the drivers door, all the doors should then lock.

Check your guage light dimmer wheel ( just to the right of your headlight switch ) to see if it has been rotated all the way up - that turns on your interior lights. Also , if you are getting a door ajar warning light in your gauge cluster you could have a door ajar switch sticking inside one of your doors , liftgate , or for the liftgate glass
