You can change the battery on the Kindle1 (but you can only buy used K1's now)
The Kindle2 has a rechargeable battery but you can't change it unless you take the device apart. Which is why in case you need the battery replaced, you need to send it to Amazon.
I don't believe so, but if it doesn't work consult amazon.com on what to do.
Well I don't own one but if you have a batteries on it u can take it out and see if it UN friezes or you can wait to see if it runs out of power to restart so u can lock it.
Amazon stocks replacement batteries (type BA1001) - see related link to their page.
No you can not.
Take out the batteries out, replace new batteries, or put the same batteries back in. It will reset the high score on Bop It.
It's double A batteries.
they use rechargable batteries
No they cannot.
yes
The battery is a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. This battery is (likely) proprietary to the Kindle itself as you cannot access the battery without nearly destroying the case (I own one). The Kindle does come with a Charger that is a USB Cord with an AC Adapter that attaches to it.
Take them to anyplace that sells batteries for recycling.
yes it does take AA size batteries, u can also use rechargeable AA batteries.
