The specific arrangement of keys on a keyboard is a separate issue, from whether you are using physical keys or virtual keys. The virtual keyboard is an alternative to the actual keyboard, not to the QWERTY keyboard.
tell me whole working of virtual keyboard
The LG Ally runs Android 2.1 in its initial release, has a slide-out keyboard, and can use a micro SD card up to 16 GB. It is a low-cost Android phone and works well for most Android apps. It received an update to Android 2.2 in early 2011 which should help performance and compatibility. The differentiating feature for the Ally is likely the keyboard. It's gotten great reviews and real keyboards are great if you text, e-mail, or take notes frequently.
A virtual keyboard differs from a touch typing keyboard because a virtual keyboard is on touch sensitive screen (like on the iphone) rather a hardware keyboard that some people prefer.
