From the reviews I have read the Nokia GPS Navigation System seems to work fine for the basics like text to speech functionality and traffic information but when it comes to user interface and navigation it could use some work. Overall it is a good product getting an average of 3 out of 5 stars. You can look at some of the reviews on cnet.com
Yes, the cobra gps system will work in a honda. It is a very effective traffic navigation system.

Not at this time, tomtom navigation system is for road navigation only! It is possible to use certain tomtom devices for boating navigation but i wouldn't rely on it, in EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ONLY, and you would have to prepare the charts yourself, alot of work!
